Before you can begin construction on a new home, you need a solid foundation. Badger Septic and Dirt, LLC can help! From clearing the land and preparing the site to constructing the house pad, we’re fully equipped to handle the job.

You want to be sure that your home is constructed on a base that is structurally sound. When site plans have been approved, permits have been acquired, and the pad location and layout have been checked, we can prepare the land for construction. From drainage and grading to brush and tree removal, we’ll ensure that your site is fully cleared and prepared for construction. And we’ll be sure to adhere to any requirements from soil and engineering reports and specifications. If necessary, we will remove and relocate obstacles such as rocks and boulders and scrape soiled spoil from the site, replacing it with soil appropriate for proper stabilization.

After the site has been fully prepared, we can begin building the house pad! We’ll build the pad with a series of “lifts,” each consisting of 4-6 inches of fill dirt composed of a mix of sand and clay. The number of lifts needed will be determined by engineer and geo-tech reports. Lastly, we’ll be sure that each lift is properly compacted, providing you with a sturdy, solid base for your construction!
